Heli Biking
Lakes region and the adventure of a mountain bike ride down hill.
Your day begins with a helicopter safety briefing, then an equipment familiarization on one of our top end,
full suspension and disc-braked bikes. Should you wish you may bring along your own bikes and equipment.
You will be taken on a short local scenic flight then dropped off at the start of your journey on the top
of a mountain. You have unobstructed views of the terrain you are about to descend, before hopping on your
bike and letting gravity, take you to the bottom, ensuring you a exciting day out!
The Wanaka heli biking terrain is sub-alpine and we cater for all levels of ability and experience.
At one end of the scale we can offer full day rides on challenging tracks or for the less adventurous,
easy going cruises down grassy double tracks taking in the breathtaking scenery. The choice is yours.

- Where: Cardrona Valley
- Departure time: 9am and 2pm from Wanaka
- Duration: 3-4hrs
- To bring: Riding clothes (can be hired), suitable footwear, windproof/waterproof jacket, polypropylene (seasonal), sunscreen, sunglasses, camera!

Bikes & Gear
Included is dual suspension Commencal mountain bikes. These are the top of the line 6inch of travel in the front and rear. Also included with the rental bike is your choice of 2007 sixsixone full face helmets, giro open face helmets and dakine mountain bike gloves. We are more than happy for you to bring your own bike and equipment if it's of a high standard and it good condition.
