FreerideNZ’s head guides hold Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) qualifications. All guides have a minimum of a workplace First Aid qualification, and all hold Public Liability. As well as being very experienced and certified, our guides are keen and passionate riders with a desire to help each individual get the most out of a day’s ride.
FreerideNZ operates throughout New Zealand with guided mountain bike and snow tours.
FreerideNZ was founded by enthusiastic mountain biker Dan McMullan. Inspired while riding overseas on a similar guided experience, Dan had a vision of initiating a mountain bike guiding company specialising in adventures stretching the length of New Zealand. His ambition: to give clients a unique riding experience, not only helping them better their riding, but to have an unforgettable time and see a truly special part of the world.
FreerideNZ supports the building of new legal mountain bike trails, with a donation from each tour going into local bike clubs for future trail development.
